FOREST GROVE Ore. - Americans for Tax Reform, the staunch advocates group dedicated to less taxes has decisively backed David Molina for state representative, in another blow to the 20+ year pro-tax and political incumbent. “Unlike my opponent, I will never agree to Highway 26, I-5, I-405, I-205, and I-84 tolls. The people of Forest Grove, Cornelius and Hillsboro already face heavy congestion and rising taxes that seem endless with more hours spent getting to and from work. We don’t need any tolls on our Oregon highways and this starts with being bold and electing Republicans in November,” said David Molina, candidate vying for House District 29. “We need to shrink Oregon government, permanently retire the incumbent, and ensure Oregonians keep more of what they earn.” The pledge reads, “I, David Molina, pledge to the taxpayers of the State of Oregon, that I will oppose and vote against any and all efforts to increase taxes.”
Americans for Tax Reform opposes all tax increases as a matter of principle. We believe in a system in which taxes are simpler, flatter, more visible, and lower than they are today. The government’s power to control one’s life derives from its power to tax. We believe that power should be minimized.
