CORNELIUS Ore. - Founded in 1975, Oregon Gun Owners (OGO) the largest group representing gun owners in the state dedicated to preserving our right as a free people to own and use firearms for legitimate purposes including self-defense, collecting, target shooting and hunting has backed David Molina to represent western Washington County in the Oregon Legislature. “We need to favor reciprocity with other states for concealed carry. The fact that Oregon schools don’t teach gun safety training, marksmanship and safe handling as part of the core curriculum is sad. We need to strengthen community policing and provide law abiding citizens a safe, livable community. I look forward to working with the leadership of OGO to advocate for safe and responsible hunting, sport shooting and self-defense so that our children, and children’s children won’t be afraid when a would-be criminal attempts to violently threaten our way of life,” said David Molina, candidate for House District 29. “We need to ensure we protect our children, our future when they are attending school and that begins with ensuring armed personnel to deter violent would-be criminals while working to improve mental health services for those that need it the most.”
